Omni Dallas Hotel {Sponsored Giveaway!}

The view of downtown Dallas from my room at the Omni Hotel.

Last fall, I had the pleasure of heading down to Dallas to attend our annual Sister Site Conference.  It was a quick drive down I-35, across the Red River and soon arriving in the big D.  I was in for a weekend full of learning, laughter and strengthening relationships.  After all, we are a part of a sisterhood.

To say I was thrilled that our conference was in Dallas might have been an understatement.  I love that it’s a great weekend destination from OKC for fun things like IKEA or Great Wolf Lodge.  It’s full of new and exciting places that are likely soon coming to OKC, but haven’t yet arrived.  So until then, south we go. And now I have a new hotel that I can add to my list when planning a short getaway.  The Omni Dallas Hotel.

The hotel itself is huge.  From the front entrance you can look up about 3 stories high with a beautiful escalator (my son would ride this the.whole.time.) and beautiful modern furnishings.  There are shops to visit, a beautiful view of downtown Dallas, fancy couches and fireplaces and a feel of comfort everywhere you look.  Since I was without my kids for the weekend, I was pretty excited to check out the room, put on my pjs and eat Bedre chocolate that I picked up on my way down. You know, the exciting life.

The room was just as amazing as what greets you downstairs.  It’s cozy and plush, with beds that scream, “take a nap!” I also checked out the bathroom, which had a TV hidden in the mirror!  I don’t know what I need to watch when I’m in the bathroom, but by golly, I was going to use it since I could!

Since I was there for the conference, I peeled myself out of the comfort of the room, and enjoyed many of the amenities this hotel has to offer!  We had a meet & greet out on the back courtyard, right off one of the restaurants.  It was a beautiful night and it was so enjoyable to be outside, with fireplaces to keep us warm and plenty of room to mingle. We were in the conference space most of the weekend and it was also beautiful and modern.  Big, tall doors, open spaces, and easy access from stairs or elevators. There was spa that many visited (I was busy napping), pools, fitness center, a sports bar, a coffee shop, other shopping locations, and more, all within the hotel. I even found out that they specifically cater to kids when they stay! How sweet is that?

So while this was the PERFECT place for a blogger conference, this is definitely on my list of must-stays when we head to Dallas with or without the family!  Also, make sure you check out Neighbors Table when you are there too.  It’s an amazing mission of love to bring families and friends back around the table, to serve and to be connected.

And since I loved the Omni stay so much, I want to give you the chance to check it out too!
