Summer is almost here! And that means it’s time for splash pads and spraygrounds in OKC! It’s time to put down the schoolbooks and head outside for some fun – and these splash pads and spray grounds are just the place to do it! Thinking a playground sounds a little too hot for the Oklahoma summer heat? Then hit up one of the many local splash pads listed!

The comprehensive list below covers some of our favorite splash pads and spray grounds around the Oklahoma City Metro. This summer you can return to an old favorite, or get adventurous and try out a new park or splash pad – I promise, some of these are worth the drive!

All Oklahoma City splash pads will be open daily May 29-September 30, from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM.

Edmond Splash Pads

Barnett Field Splash Pad 1034 S. Bryant St. – Sprayground located on Kelly Avenue north of Edmond Road at Barnett Field. Kids of all ages can enjoy cooling off at the 3,000 sq. ft. water park.

The City of Edmond splash pad opens Memorial Day, and is open daily from 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM.

Choctaw Splash Pads

Alexis Clark Water Park 1333 N. Indian Meridian Rd. – Playground and Sprayground

Barrel Springs Splash Pad Corner of Main Street and Gilbert – Sprayground

*if the water isn’t spraying when you arrive, look for the post with the activation pad near the edge of the water zone and press to activate the water.

The City of Choctaw splash pads are open Memorial Day through Labor Day, and are open daily from 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM.

Harrah Splash Pads

Harrah Heritage Park 1374 Church Ave. – Playground and Sprayground

Harrah Heritage Park Splash Pad opens Memorial Day weekend, and is open daily through Labor Day from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM.

Midwest City Splash Pads

Lions Park  2201 S. Midwest Boulevard – Playground and Sprayground

The City of Midwest City splash pad opens Memorial Day weekend, and is open daily from 10:00 AM – Dusk.

Moore Splash Pads

Apple Valley Park  4401 Melrose Dr. – Playground and Sprayground

Fairmoore Park 630 NW 5th St. – Playground and Sprayground

Little River Park 709 SW 10th St. – Playground and Sprayground

Parmele Park  1308 N. Janeway Ave. – Playground and Sprayground

The City of Moore splash pads are open May 19-September 17, 2023, and are open daily from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM.

Norman Splash Pads

Andrews Park  201 W. Daws St. – Playground and Sprayground

Colonial Estates Park  1641 E. Lindsey St. – Playground and Sprayground

City of Norman splash pads open Memorial Day weekend through October 1, and are open daily from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM.

Piedmont Splash Pads

Piedmont Community Park & Splash Pad & Sprayground 130 Gooder Simpson Blvd. – Playground and Sprayground

The Piedmont splash pad is open Memorial Day through Labor Day, and is open daily 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM.

Yukon Splash Pads

Freedom Train Park  2101 S. Holly – Playground *Will be closed for construction and is scheduled to reopen in 2023 with an all new playground and splash pad.*

Sunrise Park  550 S. Yukon Parkway – Playground and Sprayground

The City of Yukon splash pad is open Memorial Day through Labor Day, and is open daily 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
