Lauren Farris
I’m a local Okie, wife, and mom of two. I work full time and teach yoga three nights a week. I am very passionate about family and healthy living. I love to play with my babies & I cherish every moment I get with them, I love to bake, play in the garden, and stay active. My house is never clean, my family is (usually) always happy, and I drink way too much coffee.
- What is the most random thing in your purse right now? A rock
- Where would you vacation if it could be anywhere in the world? My daughter loves the beach, so right now, I think I would pack up and take my family to Kauai, Hawaii for beach time & hikes.
- Favorite thing to do with children in the OKC Metro? We love to go to the zoo & science museum

Nicky Omohundro
Nicky is a California native who moved to Oklahoma over 15 years ago when the military transferred her husband here. Since then, they’ve come and gone a few times. But after he retired, they decided to make OKC their permanent home. By day, she’s a homeschooling mom of 3; ages 12, 9, & 7. By night, she’s a healthy food and travel blogger at Little Family Adventure. When she gets a little extra time, she enjoys reading, traveling, exploring local events, running, and cooking. 1. What is the most random thing in your purse right now? The most random thing in my purse would be my dsrl camera. I just got it for Christmas and I’ve been having a ball playing with it. So far it’s all pictures of the kids and food.
2. Where would you vacation if it could be anywhere in the world? If I could go anywhere in the world for vacation, I would head out to Western Europe. Starting in the Netherlands to visit family and to show my children all the places I loved seeing when I was their age. After that, I’d love a rail pass and visit country after country. No plan, just go for the entire summer.
3. Favorite thing to do with children in the OKC Metro? Favorite thing to do in the metro with kids is the zoo and Martin Nature Park. As the weather allows, we like to get outside and get active.
4. Favorite thing to do withOUT children in the OKC Metro? Without the kids, I like to get out and try different ethnic restaurants in the Metro. My kids like ethnic food too, but it’s nice to have an adults night out every now and then.

Hey OKC! I’m an Oklahoma City Native who is the mom of 3 kids ages 12, 9, and 7 and married to my college sweetheart. I recently kissed Corporate America and my accounting career goodbye in order to pursue my creative side and keep up with my kids.
