Oklahoma City Moms Blog is growing rapidly and with it, we have had the opportunity to add to our team! We had a great response to our request for more contributors and we were beyond excited when these four accepted the open spots at OKCMB! Without further ado, we’d like to introduce you to our four newest bloggers. You can see them as well as our other contributors on our About Us page!
I’m Aubrey! A wife who makes her husband watch chick flicks, owner of the largest lap dog named Handy, and mother of an adorable roly-poly baby boy Emerson Creed. I live just out of reach from Target and Starbucks in the small town of Ada, OK.
I’m a professional photographer and former Marketing Director. A New Mexican at heart, I put green chili in just about everything I cook. In my not so spare time, I love trying to be crafty, drinking generous amounts of coffee, stashing candy, dancing & singing around my house like I’m in a musical, and sporting yoga pants whenever and wherever I can. I truly love being a mother and have come to the realization that I will probably embarrass my son at some point (or points) in the future.
Hello! I’m a single mom living in Norman, Oklahoma. I love all things festive and creative, and I’m happiest when I’m making pretty things. I’d like to be able to say I’ve got my career path figured out, but I’ve done a little of everything. I’ve traveled Europe, taught English in Japan, helped cast movies in Los Angeles, and was a professional craft designer here in Oklahoma. My latest and greatest adventure? Being mama to my sweet chunk nugget (Locke-8 months.) Seeing the world through his eyes has been such a transforming experience and I am absolutely loving this journey.
My name is Kylie and my husband and I were both born and raised in Oklahoma. We met on a blind date and have been together ever since. We got engaged in July 2012, and married in Sepember (with a wedding planned in less than 24 hours none-the-less!), and found out we were pregnant in October. My husband is in the Oklahoma National Guard and went to Afghanistan in November, but was able to come home for 2 weeks for our daughter’s birth. Our sweet little girl is now 8 months old, my husband is home and life has calmed down for the most part.
I am currently a “crunchy” stay at home mom with aspirations to home school, write the blog The Crunchy Conservative and I am working on my first novel. I am also a scuba diver, skier, and avid traveler.
I’m a wife to an amazing husband and a mother to four super active kiddos: two girls, ages 5 & 2, and two boys, ages 4 & 6 months. Six years ago, I traded in my career outside the home for a career as an adventurous homeschooling mom and gave up microwave cooking for organic homemade meals. Truly, dance parties, lots of prayer, and laughter are the only ways I stay sane, along with working out, traveling, crafting & reading in my spare time.
Most of all, I love serving God, my family, my friends and my community. My family is constantly looking for ways that we can grow and have fun together while blessing others with what the Lord has given us. I hope my words will be a blessing to you!
