Little Girls’ Swimsuits

In January, we set our goals to get in shape.  In February, we’ve slightly fallen off the wagon.  By the time March rolls around we start stressing out because Swimsuit Season is right around the corner!  Can I get an “Amen” from all you you mamas out there?  Even before I had children, I was torn between the dread of finding the right swimsuit (which is the only thing that’s harder than finding a good pair of jeans) and being so excited to get out in the glorious sunshine.  That is why I have completely delighted in shopping for my daughter this year.  The colors are fun and the patterns are adorable!  And most importantly, I’m not the one wearing it!

I’ve rounded up my favorite swimsuits for little girls that I have seen in my shopping this year.  I was not terribly impressed with the rash guard selection, as far as cute goes, but I think they are completely functional and I will be purchasing a shirt for my daughter, Maggie, at some point.  A few of these boast their SPF protection, which I love.

1. Garnet Hill $25 / 2. J.Crew $52 / 3. Target $12 / 4. Garnet Hill (top) $18 (skirt) $29.50 / 5. Olive Juice Kids $54 / 6. J.Crew $49.50 / 7. Walmart $9.97 / 8. Lands' End $29 / 9. Tea Collection $45 / 10. Lands' End $25 / 11. Garnet Hill $32

Chances are, if you subscribe to email lists or have shopped at any of these stores before, you will have some sort of discount code, coupon or weekend sale that comes into your inbox.   Retailers are quite aware that in late Febuary through May we are getting in the mood to begin our summer fun.  I purchased #10 for Maggie on a weekend where Lands’ End gave 30% off + free shipping.  Keep your eyes peeled and search for codes online.

Good luck and happy shopping!

  1. These are cute!! It seems like it’s getting harder and harder to find decent swimsuits for my girls. I do lean towards two piece suits (the tankini variety) because it makes bathroom trips and diaper changes so much easier!
